What to buy for the Christmas Traveller?

Its been a while since I was able to get a post up to Alegis Downport, quite a bit of real life stuff been going which is settling down a bit at last (and with a positive outcome).

However, there has been quite a bit going on in the run up to Christmas, so without further ado, lets see what the Christmas Traveller can be tempted with!

Gypsy Knights Games have released the final part to ‘The Lost Girl’ series – called CA3 ‘Fled’, now available for download from Drivethru RPG CA3 – Fled. The adventure pits the adventurers in a chase to locate stolen money across the Cascadia subsector. Fled is available for $4.99 and I’ll be posting a more in-depth review over the Christmas holidays.

Zozer Games have released a follow up to ‘Outpost Mars’, set in an alternative near future where humankind has journeyed to Mars and the near solar system. This is a huge book – 223 pages with plenty of background on working and living in a TL9 ‘universe’. Orbital is available in PDF format for $15.99 and can be purchased here. Again, I’ll get another review posted over the holidays.

Ian Stead at biomassart.wordpress.com has been co-ordinating the Traveller 2013 Calendar, in memory of its original co-ordinator Andrew Boulton who recently passed away. Artists and Traveller fans from around the world have contributed art (including muggins here!) and Ian has put it all together, under the approval of Marc Miller.

The Traveller Calendar is available in PDF here and in dead tree format at lulu.com for a very reasonable price of $4.00 PDF / $16.00 print.

I hope that gives the Christmas Traveller some ideas for the holiday gaming season – Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
